About

I began my career as a software engineer, building trading platforms and banking systems, which provided a robust foundation for regulated, high-stakes applications. I then moved into technical leadership within the fintech startup ecosystem, first as a tech lead at Penta (acquired by Qonto) and later as a co-founder and Head of Technology at faire.ai, where I built an AI-powered credit-scoring platform.

At Tot., my work as CTO focuses on three priorities: expanding engineering teams to address real-world challenges, developing scalable systems to avoid technical debt, and integrating AI into development workflows to enable rapid delivery. My approach is informed by analytical discipline gained through a PhD in Computer Engineering and academic research.

Leading technical strategy and building the engineering team during high growth. Driving an AI-native culture by implementing LLM-based workflows to increase velocity.

Head of Technology & Co-Founder, faire.ai, Milano. Oct 2020–Oct 2023.
Co-founded the company and expanded the technical team from 0 to 10+ people, including engineers and data scientists. Delivered an AI-powered credit scoring platform that secured €1.5M pre-seed and €3M seed funding.

Tech Lead, Penta (acquired by Qonto), Milano. Jul 2019–Sep 2020.
Led a distributed cross-functional team to streamline Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) processes for Italian and German clients, boosting user experience alongside ensuring regulatory compliance.

Lead Backend Engineer, Infinitec Solutions, Milano. Aug 2018–Jun 2019.
Led a distributed team of senior engineers and external consultants responsible for the open banking module of the company’s API platform. Oversaw API design decisions to maintain conformity to style and quality standards.

Developed RESTful microservices for Infinitec Solutions’ B2B platform, supporting SMEs in financial management.

faire.ai provides an AI and Open Banking API platform for automated credit scoring. As co-founder and Head of Technology, I built the platform and team, securing €3M in seed funding and partnerships with Fabrick and Mia-Platform.
